| Kongu Tirupati is a model temple of Tirumala Tirupati. The primary deity is Lord Venkateswara, praising the Vaishnava concept of Hinduism. It is the 12th among the 108 Divya Desams. It is located on the eastern banks of the River Cauvery near Pallipalayam, Erode in South India. The name Kongu Tirupati is derived from its geographic location in the ancient Kongunadu region of Tamil nadu. The temple is located at a distance of 7 kms from the Central Bus station and 9 kms from Junction Railway Station and 1 km from Cauvery Railway station in the city.
