Shri Mahadevi Birla Memorial Charity Trust envisioned the idea of supporting the tourism in religious city and came up with Birla Mandir and Dhramashala in Ayodhya in the year 1960.
Its a combination of temple, that is devoted to Lord Ram and Devi Sita, and a dharamshala that has also been built around the temple which provides accommodation to devotees and visitors at very nominal charges.
It has a well maintained garden which makes its ambience more beautiful. Hanuman Garhi, Ram Janm Bhoomi, Kanak Bhawan are some of the popular sightseeing attractions located near the Dharamshala.
Daily services include prayer offering, religious activities such as satsang, Ram katha and food offering along with organizing Annakoot festival that is celebrated a day after Diwali.
One can join the daily aarti in morning at 07:00 am and in evening at 07:00 pm
